Bugatti Beverly Hills currently has the debut Chiron from Geneva so I stopped by and checked it out. They said there is only one other Chiron in the world at the moment and that they already sold out a while ago.
In my opinion the Chiron entire profile is more aggressive and suggestive of performance than that of the Veyron, but far more beautiful (I for one don’t think the Veyron looks terrible). The huge semicircular vent on the sides is even more mesmerizing in person, however the rear end was kinda disappointing. Notice how right under the brake lights there are just two large black slabs for ventilation. To me it seems the Bugatti designers just gave up here.
Overall very cool to see.

I saw that same car a few months ago and I thought the same thing. It’s gorgeous, but the rear end seems so lazy.

Agreed on all points. I’m also not a fan of the fake exhaust. The fake tips are whatever, but I’m really annoyed by the additional exhaust tip exiting down into the diffuser on either side. You can see in this shot:
It looks really weird seeing exhaust fumes coming from under the car when it’s running.

I’ve seen one Veyron in my life, so I’m not concerned about the looks of the Chiron. But the looks of the Prius, Camry, or Accord? See ‘em every day, so please don’t do it ugly.

because it is the pipes for the engine heat to exit, not the exhaust fumes. big engine + many turbos = many engine heat.

I still can’t get over the 2013 Focus SE wheels. Just seems cheap because I’ve seen the same design on a cheap car for a few years now. Change the wheels on this thing then maybe we can talk.

It’s not though. It’s literally six exhaust tips with two on them pointing down.
The OG Veyron did it too, but they changed it with the Super Sport and it looked far better.

Amazingly I’ve never seen one in SF, I’ve seen a Pagani or two, pretty much everything except a La Ferrari and Veyrons. Veyrons are douche cars anyway. The owner of Rockstar drives an McL Merc SLR around.
